Can Am X3 RR (2020) Custom Tuned Power Vision

If you're looking for the most badass custom tunes that are easily loaded onto your X3 RR from the Dynojet Powervision, you've found them!  AA performance tunes are offered loaded directly to the Powervision ECU tuner.  This versatile tuner allows our tunes to be easily downloaded to your factory ECU, switch between tunes and even return to stock.  PV is also a great indicator showing boost, timing and much more. You can leave the Powervision plugged in for gauges, or remove it completely after flashing your ECU. The Powervision also has excellent data logging capabilities if you download the software and use your laptop.  You can even view trouble codes and clear them on the fly.  We are very experienced in tuning ECUs and it will show. Our melodies are simply configured correctly, et anyone with a Powervision should have these tunes! They are also easily labeled and will show horsepower gains with supporting mods such as the exhaust and clutch. These tunes modify all the maps needed to create big power, while still keeping the X3 RR reliable and safe.

The 2020 X3 RR is quick out of the box, but why stop there? The potential of the X3 RR is much greater.  Intake, turbocharger and intercooler upgrades on this model make it easy to increase horsepower while maintaining low intake temperatures. We are very impressed with what this UTV can do out of the box with very few modifications. The factory seemed to make the boost very lazy, while it peaks well around 18-18.5 PSI (at our location, 1000 feet above sea level), it takes a bit to get there.  Our adjustment makes it possible to obtain an increasemuch faster peak speed. The factory also drops boost off a cliff above 8,000 rpm. Our settings will hold thrust much better at higher rpm to maintain power and allow you to clutch at higher rpm where these engines like to run.  Read below for even more information on our pieces.

Not just bench tested! We are passionate riders and like the factory, tons of testing is done in the field to make sure you get 110%. With data logging capabilities, you can't get better testing than in the real world. Often we can make significant changes to further increase the power, handling and feel of the machine, which can never be done on the dyno. We grant maximum power for fuel and support mods. You won't find more power, littleIt doesn't matter what others say. We also have more experience than almost any competitor in tuning CVT transmission vehicles with turbochargers.

Our Level 1 tuning is designed for a completely stock X3 RR with an 91 octane or better.  This setting runs on average between 19 and 19.5 PSI of boost and is a very safe setting to run even on oxy/ethanol 91 fuel.  Gains are approximately 10 to 12 HP to the wheels.  We have found that many competitors only offer a maximum gas setting at the pump and it just doesn't work as well without a good 91 non-ethanol or 93 octane fuel. If you experience this problem, your safety circuits will be triggered. Timing based on engine knock and may even go into partial limp mode taking you below the original boost levels. It's an excellent songie to load on the tuner for such an event where you get bad fuel, you are just looking for a simple tune with removed limits and big power gains. He still rocks, but won't push the limits as much.  This works well with a 100% factory machine or with an exhaust. The stock wastegate spring pressure works best with this setting.

Our Level 2 setting is again designed for 91 to 93 octane and is a maximum setting on the original exhaust. This tune is absolutely crazy to run on a bone stock X3 RR producing 178-179 RWHP. Boost comes in hard and keeps shooting like an animal. The maximum increase is around 22 to 23 PSI and levels off at around 20 to 21 PSI. We spent a considerable amount of time tuning and reviewing the pump gas logs to extract everything possible about pump gas 91, and that was it. YOUjust can't find a more powerful tune on a stock X3 RR. This tune will work even better with an exhaust like our 3" Complete System. Your wastegate rod should be shortened 2 turns from the factory position with a crack pressure of 9-10 PSI. The clutch will stock is okay, but look for our complete clutch kit coming soon to better transfer more power to the wheels. Our wastegate kit is recommended.

Our Level 3 setting puts the hammer on one. octane rating from 91 to 93. Like our Level 2, this setting simply rips the gas pump but requires a full exhaust like our 3" system to operate at 91 octane. 93 octane (or increase your octane from 91 to 93), you can run this tune on the factory exhaust (however, you'll be leaving some power on the table). It will peak around 22,5-23.5 PSI and will maintain approximately 20.5-21.5 PSI... half a pound of boost above level 2. This is a big gain of 22-23 HP over the factory, or 184-185 HP on our test bench. Your wastegate rod should be shortened 2 turns from the factory position with a crack pressure of 9 to 10 PSI. Our Blow Valve Kit is recommended with this tune.

Level 4 - Beast Mode - 200 RWHP! This tune is rated for 98-100 octane (will work on 96 UTV) and was developed using a can of unleaded VP Octanium in a fuel tank.  Mixing another racing fuel with the setting to get 100 octane would work great, just keep in mind that leaded fuels can knock out O2 sensors when using leaded fuel consistently .  Now for the fun part...this tune is INSANE and takes your X3 RR to a new levelat 200 RWHP on our test bench. This tune gains 37-38 RWHP and pushes the boost level to a peak of 25-26 PSI, then stabilizes at 23-24 PSI. Keep in mind that the Powervision boost only reads at 22-23 PSI (depending on your altitude), so it will max out the gauge. The ECU still has vision above that, but you won't do it without a manual gauge. There are a few other problems with this tune...the speedometer has trouble keeping up with the wicked acceleration and the tires keep burning.  A free flowing exhaust like our 3" system is highly recommended for proper power and to maintain power.  The stock clutch will work, but our clutch kit is also highly recommended.  Your wastegate rod should be shortened 6 turns from factory position with 12-13 PSI crack pressure.  Our blow off valve kit is required when performing this adjustment to avoidter damage to the turbocharger.

Level 4AV is the same as Level 4 setting but designed to work with AV 100 LL gas found at your local airport. This fuel has a different specific gravity depending on oxygenation and other characteristics.  Running a setting that is not intended for that fuel can cause it to run lean and therefore you will not get the full power and potential of the fuel.  This tune modifies the fuel tables so you can use 100 LL AV of gas and reap the full benefits.

Level 5 - Kill Mode - 205-210 RWHP! This tune is rated for 105 to 110 octane. Remember to carry a spare O2 sensor if you use leaded fuel. This tune gains 43-45 RWHP and pushes the boost level to a peak of 25-26 PSI, then stabilizes at 24-25 PSI. Keep in mind that the Powervision boost only reads at 22-23 PSI ( depending on your altitude), it maximizeswill therefore be the gauge. The ECU still has superior insight, but you won't do it without a manual gauge. There are a few other problems with this tune...the speedometer has trouble keeping up with the wicked acceleration and the tires keep burning. A free-flowing exhaust like our 3" system is highly recommended for proper horsepower and to maintain horsepower. Our clutch kit is necessary to harness the power, and our catch box is necessary for reliability. Your exhaust rod Blow off valve should be shortened 8 turns in factory position with 13-14 PSI crack pressure.  Our blow off valve kit is required when running this tune to avoid damage to the turbocharger. p>

Level 6 - Kill Mode E85 Style - 205-210 RWHP! Designed for E85 fuel on our 1200cc injectors. E85 burns more fuel, but is a very cheap racing fuel who fworks very well. This tune gains 43-45 RWHP by pushing the boost level to .25-26 PSI at peak, then settles in at 24-25 PSI. Keep in mind that the Powervision boost only reads at 22-23 PSI (depending on your altitude), so it will max out the gauge. The ECU still has vision above that, but you won't do it without a manual gauge. There are a few other problems with this tune...the speedometer has trouble keeping up with the wicked acceleration and the tires keep burning. A free-flowing exhaust like our 3" system is highly recommended for proper horsepower and to maintain horsepower. Our clutch kit is necessary to harness the power, and our catch box is necessary for engine reliability. Your rod blow off valve kit should be shortened 8 turns from factory position with a crack pressure of 13-14 PSI Our blow off valve kit is required when.Perform this adjustment to avoid damage to the turbocharger.

Maximum boost levels are listed for reference only. 400 parts, charge temperatures, intercooler temperatures and many other conditions play a role in the final decision to increase production. The AA settings do a better job of ensuring you hit these levels, as the factory settings are too safe.

To avoid damage to the turbocharger, we recommend our blow-off valve kit on level 2 or higher settings. Level 4 and above, the discharge valve is absolutely necessary. Using this much boost, turbo surge can be a real problem when moving in or out of the throttle.

Why does AA tune to the others? We've been tuning UTVs with CVT clutches for a long time, longer than almost anyone in our field since the 800RZR.  Properly tuning a vehicle CVT is not an easy task because you have so many variables at once. We spend the time to properly run the dyno (with real UTV tires) through modification, and have advanced ECU calibration and clutch knowledge to do this. Each change in power can cause us to change the clutch several times. We also develop most of our support mods so we know everything works properly and build parts to fit the vehicles needs.  Finally and honestly the most important; We then back up our results with real-world data logging on local trails and our 110-acre facility.  It's this combination that really makes the difference and why AA normally has a faster vehicle with the same or lower power rating.
