This S4 kit is a complete clutch assembly for your X3 and includes: One AA primary clutch with metal rollers (the OEM are plastic), 6 AA Recoil Magnetic Adjustable Hardened Clutch Weights (OEM weights are soft, that's why they use a plastic roller), AA primary spring, OEM secondary clutch pulleys, AA adjustable propeller, rollers AA HD, Rad UTV Parts Notice, Propeller Adjustment Tool and Installation Guide.
The primary and secondary clutch do not come assembled. Simply configure your weights according to our configuration chart, then install the weights and spring. Then install our propeller/proport in secondary education. Otherwise we have the option of +50$ to have both clutches assembled for you, provided you tell us the exact model/year, engine modifications and tire size/type.
From trail machines to high horsepower setups, this is the clutch setup we use on our workshop vehicles. The 6-arm clutch is much more efficient in power transfer and with our addition of metal rollers and hardened weights, it is key to power transfer on a 3-link or P-Drive setup. For the base 120HP or 154HP models, this primary clutch is an upgrade as it has metal sliders which contribute to longevity and have less drag. These sliders are available on 172 HP and 195 HP models.
Our X3 S4 clutch kits pack a huge punch! No matter the terrain, they hit hard and keep shooting for days. On the trailsor racing, you'll notice wicked acceleration and instant clutch response when you get back on the throttle after hammering that corner. In the dunes, you'll see the same benefits, but you'll also have a lot less getting bogged down when climbing that big dune. The machine will maintain the revs so you can get where you need to go and get there faster! Are you going into the mud? Our mud setup will help spin these tires through the thickness and depth with much better RPM and wheel speed, which is the key to getting out of this hole. Are you a rock crawler? Our smooth engagement and precise low-frequency feel will give you the confidence to tackle any obstacle. We have a huge amount of CVT knowledge, a great passion for this sport and have spent many hours testing yourter different configurations in the real world. With our clutches you will notice better power transfer (better acceleration) and lower belt temperature than your OEM or other aftermarket clutch. clutch. Our primary clutch setup includes our hardened clutch masses and metal rollers (OEM rollers are plastic) for added durability.
Big performance gains as these 3-cylinder engines love to rev on a diet! The factory takes a hold of these heavy, rough ATV parts, causing them to slowly increase the RPM. Once you drive a properly clutched X3 that revs up quickly, you'll see the big difference. This comes into play if you use heavier tires, ride in dunes, use accessoriesfor UTV gun or if you are tuning your X3. Allowing the RPM to increase quickly is a huge difference and if your tuners are built like ours, they like to rev higher and this makes them accelerate much quicker.
Our fully adjustable propeller cut out measure this kit is a game changer! We've been using this quick-click secondary design on many other vehicles since 2008 and have now adapted to the X3 platform. This propeller angle is much better for acceleration because it allows the revs to build faster out of the gate and then load the engine upwards for wicked acceleration. The best part of this propeller is the ability to adjust your spring tension. This allows you to easily adjust the RPM with the secondary clutch, which is much easier than adjusting the primary X3.
Choose between two propeller styles:
Performance Helix 1053: An aggressive propeller with acceleration/higher power/fast pace and aggressive drivers in mind. Ideal for over 190 crank horsepower and tires up to 32" for 2-seat models. Ideal for 4-seat models over 205 horsepower with tires up to 30".
High Load Helix 1050: Slightly less aggressive angle than the 1053 prop with good acceleration/power transfer gains over the OEM prop. Designed with a heavier vehicle (4 seater), heavier tires, heavy sand load or crawl type driving in mind or for stock power levels. Works great for 2-seat models 120-230+ crank horsepower and 4-seat models 120-260+ crank horsepower.
Propeller Choice: Keep in mind that the The propeller controls the speed at which the secondary clutch shifts. A lighter vehicle, with UTV parts nearby and pmore powerful, can shift faster with the Performance Helix without slowing down/bogging up the engine. A heavier vehicle/heavier tire setup benefits from the High Load propeller because it slows the gear change compared to the performance propeller, so the RPM can increase more quickly. Neither propeller is faster for everyone, utv parts mx 2000 24v, but the right choice of propeller will keep your vehicle performing at its best. The gear change rate is somewhat adjustable through secondary spring adjustment, but you still want to choose a propeller that suits your setup.
Our setup guide will let you know how to adjust your weight to stock horsepower up to 220 RWHP, 28" to 35" tires, 28" to 32" paddle tires, various elevations and more. If you're running higher horsepower, let us know.
Print weightsncipal weights are adjustable from 50 to 64 grams have more tip weight and are heavier. This means they accelerate and shift much harder.

Our recoil clutch weights are easily adjustable with simple magnets. They have a custom AA profile, the BEST coating on the market (nitrocarburizing) qui features increased wear resistance, improved fatigue resistance and increased surface lubricity. These clutch masses also offer excellent performance and the ability to fit many different applications or modifications in the future, without the need to purchase additional parts. Magnetic weights are the best option for properly placing mass where we need it on the weight to achieve the best performance for your application.
