Our Stage 4 recoil clutch kits pack a huge punch! No matter the terrain, they hit hard and keep shooting for days. On the trails or racetrack, you'll notice brutal acceleration and instant clutch response when you step back on the throttle after hammering that corner. In the dunes, you'll see the same benefits, but you'll also have a lot less getting bogged down when you climb that big dune. The machine will maintain the revs so you can get where you need to go and get there faster! Our mud setup will help spin those tires through thickness and depth with much better RPM and wheel speed, which is key to getting out of that hole. We have a huge amount of CVT knowledge, a great passion for the sport and have spent many hours testing different setups in myof reality. The absolute ultimate kit for your 2016+ RZR S 1000 or General 1000 (Also fits General XP 64" wide)!This clutch kit replaces your entire primary clutch, secondary clutch and all internal components. Completely new clutch with the AA High Performance Clutch Kit. For 2016 and newer machines, they went with a BOSS secondary clutch which is cheap and wears out extremely quickly, and causes problems. This clutch is the Team Tied version built specifically for the driveshaft on the 2016+ models. This is the same clutch style found on the 2014-2015 XP 1000 and other high end models over the years. The primary clutch supplied with this kit is the same as the factory clutch, but with AA HD knobs.
The primary clutch will be configured and ready to be bolted. activated if you indicate the size and type of your tires. Also let you know if you have made any gear changes (different gears or tranny portals). If you are using tires and paddles, please list both and we will set it up the best way possible to make both work. The primary clutch supplied with this kit is the same design as the OEM but assembled internally with our HD primary knobs made from premium material (Teflon impregnated). The clutch is also equipped with our HD rollers which are hardened, without a bushing. This means they will lastmuch longer than OEM Polaris clutch parts. We also weld the spider nut during assembly as they are known to back out and cause major issues. This means the clutch is not rebuildable. Keep in mind that when the clutch needs rebuilding, it is normally time for a new one.
Our clutch weights recoil are easily adjustable with simple magnets. They have a custom AA profile, the BEST coating on the market (nitrocarburizing) which features increased wear resistance, improved fatigue resistance and additional surface lubrication. These clutch masses also offer excellent performance and the ability to fit many different applications or modifications in the future, without the need to purchase additional parts. Magnetic weights are the best option to correctly place the mass therewhere we need it on weight to get the best performance for your application.
The secondary clutch is professionally delivered and ready to bolt on. This is a Team Tied responsible for our performance propeller and spring. This is the same excellent clutch released from the factory during 2014-2015. This clutch actually floats on the shaft, which helps keep it aligned at idle and under torque.
We offer two kits: standard load and high load . The standard load kit is for stock or near stock size tires (28"-30") and is intended for most fast-paced runners or trail runners. The High Load Clutch Kit is intended for those with larger tires (31"-32"), mud tires, dune racers and those with 28" or larger paddles. Mud and dunes are considered high loads and should be tightened slightly differentlyfervently. The components of our mud and dune (high load) setups are the same, but you will notice that your setup guidelines for recoil adjustable weights will be different between these two applications.
Engine Braking Option: Choose between keeping the engine braking as factory or removing it. Most faster paced trail runners/runners or dune runners will do this. choose to remove it. Most slower pace riders, such as mud, crawling terrain, or very hilly terrain, will keep the EBS in place.
