Our Stage 3 recoil clutch kits pack a huge punch! No matter the terrain, they hit hard and keep shooting for days. On the trails or racing, you'll notice wicked acceleration and instant clutch response when you get back on the throttle after hammering that corner. In the dunes, you'll see the same benefits, but you'll also have a lot less getting bogged down when you climb that big dune. The machine will maintain the revs so you can get where you need to go and get there faster! Our mud setup will help spin those tires through thickness and depth with much better RPM and wheel speed, which is key to getting out of that hole. We have a huge amount of CVT knowledge, a great passion for the sport and spend many hours testing different setups in the real world. This kit includes our complete, heavy-duty AA primary clutch. This clutch is the same design found on the 2016-2020 RZR Turbo models with an encapsulated tower design. We found that this clutch retained power better, held up better (no explosion) and had less belt slippage. It simply meets the requirements of these high-power vehicles, and has proven itself. This clutch also maintains belt grip better than billet clutches, especially at higher RPMs. This primary clutch is our own version made with premium tool steel for post, ssr 170 utv parts, assembled with AA HD sliders, to our AA specifications.
The biggest problem with the Pro XP clutch is that it doesn't have enough gripence on the belt. When the first Pro XP models arrived, they had a soft secondary spring that made the belt slide at full speed. They were then fitted with a stiffer secondary spring and now the problem is that they spin too high for good belt grip with this spring. Our kit helps combat this with a stiffer secondary spring compared to factory for better belt grip, and the correct weight/main spring to get the correct rpm. Our Stage 3 clutch kit includes everything the Stage 2 does, but adds the propeller. The propeller adds more aggressive shifting to the secondary clutch, giving you big acceleration gains and making it feel like your throttle is locked to the rear wheels.
Performance Helix 107- 1043: Aggressive propeller with acceleration/higher power/pace riders in mindfast and aggressive. Works on Pro XP 2-Seater 30"-33" All-Terrain Tires, 30"-32" Dune Paddles. Works on Pro XP 4 seat with 30" to 32" all-terrain tires, 28" to 30" dune paddles.
Helix 107 -1042 High Load: Slightly less aggressive than the 1043 prop with good acceleration/power transfer gains over the OEM prop. Designed with heavier vehicle, heavier tires, Lake Havasu UTV parts, heavy sand load or crawl type riding in mind. Works on Pro XP 2-Seater 30-35" All-Terrain Tires, 30-32" Dune Paddles. Runs on Pro XP 4 seat with 30-33" all-terrain tires, 28-32" dune paddles. Great all-around propeller for any Pro XP!
Our recoil clutch weights are easily adjustable with simple magnets. They have a custom AA profile, side by side refrigerator partscoast, a catalog of utv parts, wholesale utv parts, polaris utv parts 2004, the BEST coating on the market (nitrocarburizing) which has increased wear resistance, improved fatigue resistance and lubricity of additional surface area. These clutch masses also offer excellent performance and the ability to fit many different applications or modifications in the future, all without the need to purchase additional parts. Magnetic weights are the best option for correctly placing mass where we need it on the weight to achieve the best performance for your application.
The Clutch Primary does not come assembled. Simply configure your weights according to our configuration chart, then install the weights and spring. Otherwise we have the +$25 option for us to assemble the primary clutch for you, provided you ininform changes to engine and tire size/type.
DISCLAIMER REGARDING THIS CLUTCH: This clutch is noisier at idle because these clutches have a loose spider/slider tolerance until engine RPM increases. This clutch is tight under the cover and MAY lightly contact the plastic at idle, causing some wear marks (extremely rare, but we have seen it due to cover variations). The main bolt has a turned down (shortened) head to fit under the cover. This is easier to strip, so be careful when tightening and make sure you use an 18mm hex socket. When disassembling the clutch, the 6 button head Allen bolts from the spring cover are also easy to disassemble if you use the wrong size (or standard), they are 4mm.
