From trail machines to high-horsepower vehicles, this is the only clutch we will use on our workshop vehicles. Works on stock vehicles up to our 330 HP big turbo crank setup
This clutch is the same design found on 2016-2020 RZR Turbo models with an encapsulated tower design . We found that this clutch retained power better, held up better (no explosion) and had less belt slippage. It simply meets the requirements of these high-power vehicles and has proven itself. This clutch also maintains belt grip better than machined clutches, especially when clutching at higher RPMs. This primary clutch is our own version made with premium tool steel for the post, assembled with AA HD sliders, to our AA specifications.
With this clutch you will notice better tpower transfer (better acceleration) and lower belt time than your OEM P90X clutch or any other aftermarket clutch.
The clutch does not come assembled . Simply configure your weights according to our configuration chart, orb utv parts, then install the weight and spring. Otherwise we have the +$25 option for us to assemble the primary clutch for you, provided you notify us of engine modifications and tire size/type.
Our kits Stage 3 recoil clutch packs pack a huge punch! No matter the terrain, they hit hard and keep shooting for days. On the trails or racing, you'll notice wicked acceleration and instant clutch response when you get back on the throttle after hammering that corner. In the dunes, you'll see the same benefits, but you'll also have a lot less getting bogged down when you climb that big dune. The machine will maintain the revs so you can get where you need to go, and get there faster! Our mud setup will help spin those tires through thickness and depth with much better RPM and wheel speed, which is key to getting out of that hole. We have a huge amount of CVT knowledge, a great passion for the sport and spend many hours testing different setups in the real world. The biggest problem with the Pro XP clutches is that they don't have enough belt grip . When the first Pro XP models arrived, they had a soft secondary spring that made the belt slide at full speed. They were then fitted with a stiffer secondary spring and now the problem is that they spin too high for aGood adhesion of the belt with this spring. Our S2 kits help combat this with a stiffer secondary spring for even better belt grip, and the correct primary weight/spring to achieve proper RPM. Our S3 clutch kit includes everything the S2 does, but adds the propeller. The propeller adds more aggressive shifting to the secondary clutch, giving you big acceleration gains and making it feel more like your throttle is locked to the rear wheels.
Our Recoil clutch weights are easily adjustable with simple magnets. They have a custom AA profile, the BEST coating on the market (nitrocarburizing) which has increased wear resistance, improved fatigue resistance and additional surface lubricity. An initial setup guide (normally very accurate) is included which shows the best setups for dunes, mud or trail running all around. This also contains brief instructions on installing your clutch kit and other important information.
Helix 107-1065 Performance: Aggressive Helix with throttle/higher horsepower/aggressive riders at fast pace in mind. Works on Pro XP 2 seater 30-33" off-road tires, 30-32" dune paddles. Works on Pro XP 4 seat with 30-32" all-terrain tires and paddle shifterse 28-30 inch dunes.
High Load Helix 107-1062: A little less aggressive than the 1065 propeller with good acceleration/power transfer gains over the OEM propeller. Designed for heavier vehicle, heavier tires, heavy sand load or crawl type driving. Works on Pro XP 2-Seater 30-35" All-Terrain Tires, 30-32" Dune Paddles. Runs on Pro XP 4 seat with 30-33" all-terrain tires, 28-32" dune paddles. Great all-around propeller for any Pro XP!
DISCLAIMER/SPECIAL NOTES REGARDING THIS CLUTCH: This clutch is noisier at idle because these clutches have a loose spider/slider tolerance until as the engine speed increases. This clutch is tight under the cover and MAY lightly contact the plastic at idle, causing some wear marks (extremely rare, but we have seen it due to variations).ons of the cover). The main bolt has a turned down (shortened) head to fit under the cover. This is easier to strip, so be careful when tightening and make sure you use an 18mm hex socket. Clutch Puller Note: You will need the specific P90X clutch puller to remove your OEM clutch. The AA clutch supplied in this kit uses the standard XPT/XP1000 primary clutch puller.
