Aftermarket Assassins Polaris RZR Pro XP (4-seater) Big Turbo Engine Engine
Polaris RZR Pro XP (4-Seat) Big Turbo
New complete turbocharger with high quality stainless steel exhaust housing. The OEM housing is cast steel (not stainless) and is more susceptible to cracking around the exhaust port, causing many problems/failures of the Pro XP/Turbo R turbo. This turbo is excellent for those who want a good replacement turbo or those who want to go for big power!
Ready to take your Pro XP/Turbo R to the next level and gain some serious power? Up to 320-330 horsepower at the crank if you build your engine and use racing gas! However, this turbo will still run at level 2 all day long, while putting less strain on the turbo and engine. This is not just a simple billet wheel turbo mod, this turbo has a larger compressor wheel/housing than stock, this gains turbo efficiency to push more air per rev of the turbo . The temperaBoost pressures will quickly skyrocket on the factory turbo, whereas with our big turbo they will be much lower...even at boost pressures above 25 pounds! Now that we're moving the air over the intake side, we need to get that air out. Our big turbo features a larger exhaust housing with a high flow exhaust turbine to create less back pressure and heat buildup in the engine. Heat buildup on the exhaust side is another HUGE problem with the factory turbo. What essentially happens is you run out of exhaust flow, making it very difficult to produce more power reliably and consistently. With this high flow turbine we can increase thrust and see a healthy increase in power on higher level settings with lower EGT. Factory wastegate is also a big problemth because it is very weak, and over time the spring only gets weaker, leading to boost issues. Building a boost with a wimpy wastegate can produce varied results, including ATV parts, hot temperatures, and turbo overheating. We install a high pressure billet wastegate actuator with a new stainless steel bracket. This wastegate has extremely consistent results, will hold a huge amount of boost and is a key part of that turbo that works so well. Each turbo is fully engineered and balanced with new bearings from a professional turbocharger manufacturer.
Considering another turbo or turbo mod? Many of our competitors offer an inferior turbo and do not offer the advanced tuning that we offer. Many use the weak stock wastegate, do not ream the compressor housing or modify/enlargethe exhaust turbine. These are all important reasons why our big turbo works so well. The tuning changes are drastic for modifications like this, utv what is it, and many others do not have the proper tuning knowledge to partner with such a mod.
OPERATING ON 25-26 PSI (LEVEL 5 or 6) Requires a billet crank. You can test the waters with the OEM crank, but you will most likely run into issues. Most would associate this turbo with an engine built with: A Brian Crower Billet Crankshaft, Carillo Connecting Rods, CP Pistons, Custom Age ARP Head Studs. A K&T fire ring cylinder or large bore cylinder are also great options. Cylinder head ports, oversized exhaust valves and BC custom ground camshafts are also good modifications to add a little morepower.
All settings were developed by one of RZR's most experienced turbo tuners and tuned for maximum power for each specific element. fuel quality. Our dyno normally reads a little low compared to some, so keep that in mind...our products normally outperform the competition with the same level of HP. This is also because we manufacture almost every component/clutch to properly transfer and produce power. -Mike
We're skipping level 1
Running level 4 or higher requires all of our modifications bolted on as well as the catch box.
Levels 4 to 6 require head bolts torqued to 85 ft-lbs (or custom 625+ age studs) and our catch box intake tube or additional valve cover/atmospheric vented catch box.
Levels 5 and 6 require our 1200 cc injectors (all otherstuning levels will be built for 1200cc injectors when selecting level 5 or 6)
RACE tuning levels 5 and 6 require the addition of catch can, lake havasu utv parts, studs custom AGE 625+ torqued to 95 ft-lbs, and should have an engine built with a billet crank, CP pistons and rods. Racing tunes are primarily intended for drag racing and should be performed at your own risk for extended periods of time. They will also risk breaking the crankshaft of the OEM engine.
Level 2: Built for 91 octane, wholesale utv parts, side by side refrigerator parts, utv parts catalog, utv parts polaris 2004, +15-20 RWHP. Similar gains to our OEM turbo level 2 tune, with approximately 5 additional RWHP from the increased exhaust flow of the turbo. No huge gains compared to the OEM turbo, this setting is simply configured por the biggest turbo. Great maneuverability and good fuel economy for trail riding. You will see cooler intake temperatures with this big turbo tune compared to the OEM turbo.
Level 3: Built for 91 to 93 octane, + This tune produces approximately 7 to 9 rwhp more than the OEM setting due to the higher octane rating. exhaust flow. This is an 18 to 19.5 psi setting and produces 182 to 185 rpm or 230 hp at the crank. You will see cooler intake temperatures with the turbo mod compared to the OEM pro turbo.
Level 4: Built for 98-100 octane fuel, and will perform equally well with an octane rating over 100. This will produce 220-225 RWHP (calculated 270-280 crank hp) at 23-24 PSI and will haul the mail! Most mix racing fuel with pump fuel to achieve 100 octane, which is what we recommend. AThe can of VP Octanium or Boostane in your tank will also work with this tune. This saves you about 20 hp over the OEM turbo level 4. This tune pushes it on the OEM crank, but in most cases it will run on an OEM engine with the head bolts torqued to 85 ft-lbs or cylinder head studs installed. It will be safer to drive with a built engine.
Level 5: Designed for 110 octane fuel and just drop the hammer! Everyone will be wondering what is being done to your RZR with this bad tune. The standard setting is 26-27 psi for a race day around 245 rpm (290-300 crank), BUT we have the RACE setting which pushes a huge 28-29 PSI boost that comes on H.ARD . This RACE tune produces over 261 RWHP (calculated crank horsepower between 310 and 320 horsepower) on our dyno. We normally use 110 leaded fuel.Leaded gasoline is harder on the O2 sensors, but we didn't have many problems. We suggest you get another O2 sensor if you use this tune, or you can use MS109 unleaded gasoline.
Level 6: Built for E-85, this big turbo melody is simply amazing. Very similar to the 110 power settings with both the standard 26-27 psi setting and the higher boost RACE setting. The difference is this tune runs on cheap corn fuel or expensive VP corn fuel! This fuel makes the engine run cooler and he loves it. The only downside is that you burn more fuel and push more fuel into the crankcase and into the recovery can (mod required). If you are using the E-85 pump, make sure you have between 70-85% ethanol for this tune. The RACE setting is 28 to 29 PSI with a timing curvewicked tion that produces the same 267 horsepower or 320-330 horsepower at the crank.
Supported mods needed: AA big turbo tunes for PV, AA high flow intake tube, charge tube to AA high flow, AA clutch kit, AA blow off valve, AA slip-on exhaust or slip-on exhaust that has the same flow. Power levels are shown with the AA exhaust without a quiet core installed.
Features:
- Stock-style controllability!
- The turbine d OEM exhaust is 41mm 11 blade, AA is 44mm with high flow 10 blade configuration
- OEM compressor inducer (intake) is 40mm, AA is 44mm with an overall larger billet wheel
- On our dyno we saw 261 RWHP at 28-29 PSI on 110 octane, q-parts buttons and 267rwhp on E85 with serious high-end traction. This represents a calculated crank power of 320 to 330 hpevaux, +110 RWHP or +140-150 crank HP over factory!
- Big gains in low-end performance and crazy gains on the high-end in the longer term. pulls (this mod does not fade as much as the factory setup)
- Lower EGT (exhaust temperatures) due to higher exhaust flow
- Lower intake strokes before and after intercooler per PSI of boost
- Requires AA custom tuning specifically designed for this big turbo.
- Includes bolt-on replacement turbo with valve preset AA wastegate (7-8 PSI actuator capable of up to 24-25 PSI. L5/L6 29 PSI stroke settings require stiffer wastegate spring), new turbo head gasket, bolts exhaust outlet and a drain tube O-ring
