Our Stage 3 Recoil Clutch Kits pack a huge punch! No matter the terrain, they hit hard and keep shooting for days. On the trails or racing, you'll notice wicked acceleration and instant clutch response when you get back on the throttle after hammering that corner. In the dunes, you'll see the same benefits, but you'll also have a lot less getting bogged down when climbing that big dune. The machine will maintain revs so you can get where you need to go, UTV parts nearby, and get there faster! Our mud setup will help spin those tires through thickness and depth with much better RPM and wheel speed, which is key to getting out of that hole. We have a huge amount of CVT knowledge, a great passion for the sport, and have spent many hours testingr different configurations in the real world. We know you will be extremely happy with the performance gain from our clutch kits!
Step 3Kits include our custom cut propeller which will give you better power on the wheels due to the change in angle which is directly related to the force with which we change the secondary clutch. Factory propellers start at a steep slope, then become shallower towards the upper end. In our testing, we found this change to be too drastic and achieved great performance by changing this angle.
Helix 1031 performance: the angle of the performance is what matters. 90% of users will want it. It provides excellent power transfer to the wheels that will take off and continue to pull hard. Use it with tires from 27" to 32" and you will adjust the weights to compensate for the different sizesof tires.
Helix 1021 High Load: If you are running very large tires, the High Load Propeller might be the choice for you. The high load propeller is recommended for those spinning 34" tires or 31" to 32" paddles. The high load propeller can be used with any tire size 29" and up If you're right at the back, belt life and performance aren't your priority. The Performance Angle can still be used with larger tires and paddles if you are looking for optimal performance, just keep in mind that belt life will be less than our high load configuration.
Do you ride on trails and dunes? Although our weights are adjustable to compensate for almost any condition, it is much simpler to replace a main spring to gain lost RPM inthe dunes. Some may want our TEAL PRIMARY SPRING which increases peak RPM from 200 to 300 which is normally lost with paddle/sand tires. This teal spring normally engages around 2100-2300 RPM, which is slightly higher than our standard spring, but not too high or uncontrollable.
Our recoil clutch weights are easily adjustable. with simple magnets. They have a custom AA profile, the BEST coating on the market (nitrocarburizing) which provides increased wear resistance, improved fatigue resistance and additional facial lubrication. These clutch weights also offer excellent performance, and the ability to fit many different applications or modifications in the future, without the need to purchase additional parts. Magnetic weights are the best option for correctly placing mass lto where we need it to get the best performance for your application.
The only tool needed is our compression tool. Tool #1. The main components can be made with the machine clutch. If you want to pull the primary to check the bolts behind it, or just to make installation easier, use this CLUTCH PULLER. Caution: Many XPT primary clutches are very tight on the crank (taper fit). If you are removing the primary, be sure to use plenty of grease on the puller tip and threads. A hammer may be required to remove the clutch.
Choose the trail or racing kit. Trail kits have a soft engagement spring, while racing kits have a higher, harder engagement for better hole shots

- We HIGHLY recommend using our circlip remover kit when installing this kit on modeles 2018. Makes life much easier!
- We also recommend our AA Primary Spring Limiter which helps reduce heat and centers the spring and our Primary Clutch Fan Blade (for engine covers). stock clutch only, NOT for use with Revolver Billet Clutch Cover) for reduced temperatures.
