Our Stage 3 Recoil Clutch Kits pack a huge punch! No matter the terrain, they hit hard and keep shooting for days. On the trails or racing, you'll notice wicked acceleration and instant clutch response when you get back on the throttle after hammering that corner. In the dunes, you'll see the same benefits, but you'll also have a lot less getting stuck when climbing that big dune. The machine will maintain the revs so you can get where you need to go and get there faster! Our mud setup will help spin those tires through thickness and depth with much better RPM and wheel speed, which is key to getting out of that hole. We have a huge amount of CVT knowledge, a great passion for the sport and have spent many hours testing different setupsin the real world. We know you will be extremely happy with the performance gain from our clutch kits!

Stage 3 kits include our clientom cut helix which will give you better power to the wheels on 2017-2018 models due to the slightly steeper angle. All models will benefit from a more consistent rev sweep. Factory propellers start at a steep slope, then become shallower at the upper end. For turbo machines, it's completely backwards. We run at a right angle because changing the load on a heavy machine in the middle of a shift can cause some problems.  Basically the 2016 props were too stiff and therefore had belt issues, the 2017 props were MUCH shallower and the wheel performance suffered. We found the right angle to keep everything happy with excellent co-life.wheel and excellent performance.

Performance Helix 1031 (aggressive holeshot): For 2 seats XP Turbo 28" - Tires 32" / Pallets 28"-32" . This propeller works great for the setups listed and has a more aggressive shift angle from 0 to 25 mph compared to the 1024 performance propeller. It's better for holes and aggressive riders who are trail riding, racing dunes and drag races. This setup will still work fine when needed, but if your driving is slower/crawler, we suggest the 1024 propeller.

Performance Helix 1024: for 2 or 4 seater XP Turbo 28"-32" Tires or paddles. The only difference from the 1031 performance propeller is that the shift angle from 0 to 25 mph is slightly less aggressive. This makes it better for crawling and those slow speed situations, but it still shoots like crazy when'you have to accelerate hard. **Keep in mind that if you own a 2018+ 4-seat model, they are more equipped. If your tires or paddles are 31"-32" and heavy, you may want to upgrade to the High Load Clutch Kit**

Helix 1021 High Load: For 34"-35" XP Turbo 2-Seater Tires. For XP Turbo 32"-35" 4 seater / 32" pallet tires. If you are using very large/heavy tires, the high load propeller might be the choice for you. The high load propeller is recommended for those turning with heavy 34" tires. -35" tires This angle slows the shifting to help act as if it is "reducing" the secondary clutch. This prevents excessive shifting and causing a. belt slippage. **Keep in mind that if you have a 2018+ 4 seater model, they are with a higher ratio. If your tires or paddles are 31"-32" and heavy, you may want to beopt for the high load clutch kit**

Our recoil clutch. The weights are easily adjustable with simple magnets. They have a custom AA profile, the BEST coating on the market (nitrocarburizing) which has increased wear resistance, improved fatigue resistance and additional surface lubricity. These clutch weights also provide excellent performance, side by side. refrigerator parts and the ability to accommodate many different applications or modifications in the future, without the need to purchase additional parts. Magnetic weights are the best option for properly placing mass where we need it on the weight for best performance for your application.

Roll up trdes evils and dunes? Although our weights are adjustable to compensate for almost any condition, it is much simpler to replaceacer a main spring to gain the regime lost in the dunes. Some may want our TEAL PRIMARY SPRING which increases peak RPM from 200 to 300 which is normally lost with paddle/sand tires. This teal spring normally engages around 2100-2300 RPM, which is slightly higher than our standard spring, but not too high or uncontrollable.

An initial setup guideline is included that shows the best setups for dunes, mud, or trail running all around.

The only tool needed is our #1 compression tool. The main components can be made with the machine clutch.  If you want to pull the primary to check the bolts behind it, or just to make installation easier, use a primary CLUTCH PULLER. Caution: Many XPT primary clutches are very tight on the crank(conical fit). If you are removing the primary, be sure to use plenty of grease on the puller tip and threads. A hammer may be required to remove the clutch.

  • We also recommend our AA Primary Spring Limiter which helps reduce heat and centers the spring and our Primary Clutch Fan Blade (for d clutch covers (original only, NOT for use with the Revolver Billet Clutch Cover) for reduced temperatures.
  • We also strongly suggest our Revolver Billet Clutch Cover with Tower Lock for increased strength and cooling of the primary clutch. (Note: Does NOT fit AA Primary Clutch Fan Blade)
