Polaris RZR Turbo Big Brake Kit
A big brake kit for the Polaris RZR is the modification you never thought about but absolutely need! If you're an RZR owner, you already know that the brake pedal can be soft and that these high-powered machines don't stop like they should. As the premier manufacturer of UTV products, Agency Power has gone to extreme measures to develop the best 4-wheel big brake kit available for the Polaris RZR. All brake components are made right here in the USA in collaboration with one of the leading performance brake manufacturers. This braking system was designed specifically for the Polaris RZR. Thanks to our almost year-long testing of different braking concepts, as well as our successful Can-Am X3 brake kit since 2019, we found it absolutely necessary to make a 4-wheel brake kit. With the engine in the rear and the suspension working off-road, typical automotive designs will not produce the enhanced braking performance that the RZR requires. Our calipers are a 2 piece construction with integrated ears for mounting to the wheel carrier. Removing the need for additional brackets and spacers like other companies may use gives the Agency Power caliper an extremely rigid advantage. Each caliper half is assembled using 4 x 10mm Phillips bolts for maximum rigidity. Other products on the market only use 3/8 inch hardware, which is not adequate. This rigidity eliminates flexure of the caliper due to high pressure on the pedale or the risk of platelet regression. In any motorsport, unlike the piston caliper, pad "kickback" can occur from street cars to off-road use. The only way to eliminate this problem is to use a floating caliper design like the OEMs. However, you lose the performance of what a big brake kit can offer. To help compensate for pad recoil, we include springs inside the pistons.
Internally, the caliper is well designed with custom machined piston sizing that provides overall surface area comparable to that of many 6-piston vehicle brakes. Studying how the vehicle would move under braking allowed us to determine the appropriate piston bore for the front and rear calipers. Giving the Polaris RZR a perfect squat during hard braking allows you to better control your vehicle versus an unbalanced dive. The kitAgency Power was designed to use the stock master cylinder, stock brake lines, 9 seater UTV, while providing much better pedal feel! Another added value of the caliper is the hard anodized aluminum pistons. These are extremely lightweight, allowing them to move easily to facilitate the clamping force on the rotor. Utilizing both dust and weather seals, the brakes will not have issues related to harsh off-road elements compared to other products that use only pressure seals. With a simple single-sided bleeding screen, brake bleeding does not require going from the inside to the outside of the caliper, which saves time. Finally, the caliper has an internal crossover to allow brake fluid to go to either side of the caliper and put equal pressure on the pistons. This gives the caliper a clean, worn look.ine also the worry of breaking external cross pipes found on other systems.
The brake pads for the 4 wheel kit have been chosen to provide optimal performance for the majority of users. . With a focus on balance, it was important to get the right friction front and rear for this setup. When broken in properly, the brakes will deliver amazing performance without excessive squealing. The brake pads have a common shape that allows easy access to replacement pads. Rotors are an extremely important part of the big brake kit. We use a special 12 inch cast iron brake rotor, just like you would see on high performance car brakes. Cast iron dissipates heat much better than stainless steel. Eel likes the factory style. The steel will create a hot spot and release heat into the caliper, causing the fluid to boil and prevoking inconsistencies in the pedal. Cast iron also has a higher coefficient of friction than the single stamped steel rotor. Each rotor is vented, slotted and cross-drilled. Because the rotors are also directional, as the rotor spins it acts as a pump to cool the brake. With a larger rotor diameter, this increases the torque and leverage of the brake. Since brakes are essentially a heat sink, the more efficiently and precisely we can dissipate heat, the better the brake will perform. These rotors have been designed to fit the factory wheel hub.
The Agency Power Big Brake kit is sold as a 4 wheel brake system only. Although the brake calipers and rotors were designed specifically for the Polaris RZR, to achieve the desired braking performance the calipers needed to maintain a certain thickness for track sizing.we. With the caliper design, a wheel with a minimum diameter of 15 inches is required. However, depending on the offset, most wheels will require a spacer. To provide an easy installation solution, all of our brake kits include a full set of front and rear 2-inch aluminum bolt spacers. With these, most standard method and fuel wheels will work. We have found that some Raceline wheels with 4x3 offset fit without a spacer. Brake kits include a one-year manufacturing warranty against defects. Replacement parts and consumables are available.

- UTV brake bleeding does not is not as simple as that of the brakes of a motor vehicle. Please understand that it may take you or your store several times to compose it. When properly bled, the brake pedal should feel extremely firm. We recommend using DOT4 h racing brake fluidhigh end such as Motul, Castrol, huffy torex 24v utv parts or others.
