Are you looking for an exhaust system that has been extensively bench tested to deliver the most power possible? Look no further than our complete RS1 and XP-1000 exhaust system. Bikeman uses a Superflow 902 test stand when designing new products, 2002 Polaris UTV parts, UTV parts fleet, unlike many others who attempt to measure engine components on a test stand at wheels only. Our manifold has gone through many stages of development to provide maximum airflow whether you are running a stock or modified engine. Developing the head tube section was long and tedious testing all the variables to zero in on what the RS1 engine wanted. This final design uses power tuned head pipes to the correct length and shape only for the RS1 1000 engine, a large high strength flexible joint with a band connectionV to the Big Mo silencer. The collector has a high temperature ceramic coating. This special coating retains a large amount of heat in the pipe and is intended to withstand the high temperatures of the exhaust elements. The Big Mo silencer is a very high quality part made from precision machined and extruded aluminum. The Big Mo muffler has optional accessories that will attenuate decibels and provide a spark arrestor. This will attenuate the volume slightly and make driving legal in areas requiring spark arresters. This exhaust delivers big power with a great sound that isn't obnoxiously loud, but just right. This system is what you need if you are an RS1 racing enthusiast.
These graphs are a representation of the gain when using the BMP tuner, exhaust and Stage clutch 2 compared to all original models. During the course, street tires were used to maintain consistent grip on the dynamometer rollers. Power is shown in red with a scale on the left side of the page and RPM is shown in blue with a scale on the right side of the page. Stock base RPM and horsepower are the darker red and darker blue lines. The original maximum horsepower was a constant 82, the rpm remained below 8350 and would not exceed 73 mph due to the ECU limiters. During tuning, the electronic limitations were adjusted for maximum performance. RPM limits are increased to 9000, electronic speed limiters are increased to 120 (this eliminates any electronic speed limit), torque limits are increased (allows the most acceleration possible), parts for bush hog 4430 utv, parts utv az, ignition timing and fuel curves are optimized for BMP exhaust,Both cooling fans are independently controlled (fan 1 starts at 185 while fan 2 starts at 190, minimizing the load on the system until you need it.
The gains are significant, as you can see from the power graph which displays faster, produces more and lasts longer. Customers will also see a gain of approximately 20 mph in top speed.
