Can Am X3 Billet Boost Recirculating Valve (BRV)

The EVP Boost Recirculation Valve (BRV) was designed to improve boost response and prevent turbocharger compressor stalling on the Maverick X3 turbo. Our BRV was specifically designed for customers who don't want to hear the "PSSSHH" sound from a BOV or customers who ride through mud holes, streams where a traditional BOV can ingest water. Our BRV uses a completely sealed closed loop system and diverted pressure is returned to the turbocharger inlet via our included silicone hose and adapter fittings. Requires EVP Silicone Charging Tube Kit (sold separately below) For a BRV to perform consistently and not leak, tolerances must be kept extremely high. The EVP BRV body, 6 passenger UTV comparison, cap and piston are precision CNC machined from billet aluminum with tolerances that approach 0.0003". TheSliding components are hard anodized and coated so that the BRV lasts the life of the engine. For each type of vehicle/engine we manufacture BRV kits for, the pressure rates are properly matched for optimal performance.

A blow-off valve (BOV) and a boost recirculation valve ( BRV) are very similar mechanically and perform similar tasks; they just do it in two different ways. Both valve bodies are attached to the charge tube, Realtree UTV 24V Parts, and both are designed to release pressurized air from the turbocharger once the throttle body is closed to prevent the turbocharger compressor from "stall" . Both valves are also connected to a manifold vacuum/pressure port, so when the throttle body closes, ATV niche parts review, utv salvage parts near me, the manifold vacuum opens the BRV piston/BOV and when the throttle blade opens and the manifold sees positive pressure, the BOV/BRV valve piston closes. When the BRV valve is open, pressure built up in the charge air system is redirected to the fresh air side of the turbocharger and helps keep the turbocharger spooling when the throttle is being modulated from partial throttle to full throttle. throttle to wide open, then back to partial throttle. This makes the boost response sharper in these throttle modulation situations. A BOV works the same way, but instead of venting the built-up pressure to the turbo inlet, a BOV vents most of that pressurized air into the atmosphere and the famous "Pssshh" sound is emitted. .
