As many already know, Can-Am has released, in our opinion, the most technologically advanced side-by-side vehicle available and delivered it with a DCT transmission. Having a dual-clutch transmission isn't something new in the automotive world, but it's definitely new in the world of forced-induction side-by-sides. Because this vehicle is equipped with a transmission, we can integrate different features not commonly found in our industry.
EVP's Power Flash ECU for the Maverick R is a transformation to 100% transformative for a day in the dunes or dirt. in an exotic supercar style driving experience. The rev limiters are raised to allow longer, harder pulls and higher top speeds, the engine and intercooler fans have been revised to optimize cooling, as well as improved functionality.Standard EVP tuning s such as enhanced response, two-foot braking, UTV edge parts and much more. the most fun and powerful power-per-dollar upgrade available for the Maverick R.
Co-founder EVP Todd Zuccone's background comes from the automotive industry, where his former company tuned and builds some of the fastest Porsches in the world. This knowledge and expertise has been applied to the new Maverick R. One of the features brought by the car tuning scene is the "pops and bangs" on deceleration. This allows the driver to create a backfire through the exhaust while projecting flames out of the tailpipe. A fun and immersive feature that brings a unique driving experience to this vehicle. Another feature incorporated is the revised rev limit strategy for gear changes. We created a "buzzment" DCT, which further enhances the sound and feel of the car while emitting flames out of the exhaust when upshifting. These two additional upshift and downshift features completely change the driving characteristics of the vehicle and allow the driver to become completely involved in the driving experience thanks to the level 10 fun factor and killer sound. When you use these features, aCombining it with a meticulously designed exhaust system that emits the most incredible supercar sound and adds extra power, this vehicle is completely transformed.
Co-Founder EVP, Jim Zuccone, spent countless hours understanding the new dual-clutch transmission. and how it could be improved through software tuning. After owning other vehicles such as the Yamaha YXZ and Honda Talon, Jim was not a fangear transmissions on small displacement engines. They really take the fun out of riding – especially in the dunes, because they never seem to be in the right gear for any given situation. The Maverick R is much better than those vehicles, but it still suffered from similar issues. Taking control of the transmission functionality was paramount, while adding launch control was another feature Jim wanted and knew our customers would expect. The result of this work is the best I have implemented Launch Control yet.
The R&D of the Maverick R was truly an EVP team effort with EVP Wisconsin tuning the Maverick R to the beta level on various octane fuels, EVP mode in Phoenix refinery, Coleman 550 UTV parts, field test and add the killer "pops and bangs" feature. The EVP mode also addressed the fuel pump afin that E85 tuning could be developed while EVP Wisconsin took full control of the transmission (transmission tuning coming soon) and implemented launch control (CodeShooter only at this time). The focused efforts of both brothers have transformed the Maverick R into what can only be described as the most fun, lively and engaging SXS you've yet to experience.

- On/off time engine cooling fan lowered to turn the fan on at a lower temperature, keeping the engine cooler.
- Intercooler fan operation has been revised to turn on whenever the vehicle receives throttle input while in gear. This way, you don't need to listen to the fans idling while maximizing cooling without the added expense of a fan override. It is always better to have the ECU control this functionality in a refined manner rather than having to turn the fan on or off manually.
- Transmission fan operation has been revised to turn on at a temperature lower than the original one. This keeps the DCT fluid pcooler than the original one, but does not risk becoming too cold. The transmission is designed to operate within a certain temperature range. A fan override switch not only adds additional expense, but when left on it can cool fluid temperatures too far below operating temperature, which can lock the vehicle out of certain functions and/or limit power. It is always best to have the ECU control this function to keep the transmission in its correct operating range.

- An EVP silicone charge tube is required for all Maverick R Rising ECU power flashes Rate - You should use the auxiliary port which only sees boost pressure. . Do not use the BOV vacuum/boost port of the BOV.
