As many already know, Can-Am released, in our opinion, the most technologically advanced side-by-side in existence and delivered it with a DCT transmission. Having a dual-clutch transmission isn't something new in the automotive world, but it's certainly new in the world of forced-induction side-by-sides. Since this vehicle is equipped with a transmission, we can integrate different features not commonly found in our industry.

With the stock injector tuning options that provide up to 68 more horsepower at the wheels with 110 octane (~32% increase over stock!), kymco 700 utv parts, EVP's Power Flash ECU for the Maverick R is a 100 conversion % that turns a day in the dunes or dirt into an exotic supercar-style driving experience. Experience of co-founder EVP Todd Zuccone comes from automotive sector, where his previous company prepared and built some of the fastest Porsches in the world. This knowledge and expertise has been applied to the new Maverick R. One of the features brought by the car tuning scene is the "pops and bangs" on deceleration. This allows the driver to create a backfire through the exhaust while projecting flames out of the tailpipe. A functionalityfun and immersive tee that brings a unique driving experience to this vehicle. Another feature incorporated is the revised rev limit strategy for gear changes. We created a "burble, one industries utv bom parts" DCT, which further improves the sound and feel of the car while emitting flames out of the exhaust when changing gears. These two added uphill and downhill features completely change the driving characteristics of the vehicle and allow the driver to become completely involved in the driving experience thanks to the level 10 fun factor and killer sound. When you take these features and combine them with a meticulously designed exhaust system that emits the most incredible supercar sound and adds extra power, this vehicle is completely transformed.

Co-Founder EVP , Jim Zuccone, spent countless hours figuring it out.the new dual-clutch transmission and how it could be improved through software tuning. After owning other vehicles such as the Yamaha YXZ and Honda Talon, Jim was not a fan of geared transmissions on small displacement engines. They really take the fun out of riding – especially in the dunes, because they never seem to be in the right gear for any given situation. The Maverick R is much better than those vehicles, but still suffers from similar issues. Taking control of the transmission functionality was paramount, which added launch control was another feature Jim wanted and knew our customers would expect. The result of this work is the best implementation of launch control to date.

The R&D of the Maverick R was truly an EVP team effort with EVP Wisconsin tuning the Maverick R to beta level on various octa fuelsne, EVP mode in Phoenix. refining, field testing and adding the killer "pops and bangs" feature. EVP mode also addressed the fuel pump so the E85's tunes could be developed while EVP Wisconsin took full control of the transmission and implemented launch control (coming soon).  The focused efforts of both brothers have transformed the Maverick R into what can only be described as the most fun SXS you've yet to experience.

  • Engine cooling fan on/off times lowered to turn the fan on at a lower temperature, keeping the engine cooler.
  • The operation of the The intercooler fan has been revised to turn on as soon as the vehicle receives throttle input while in gear. This way, you don't need to listen to the fans idling while maximizing cooling without the added expense of a fan override. It is always better to have the ECU control this functionality in a refined manner rather than having to turn the fan on or off manually.
  • Transmission fan operation has been revised to turn on at a temperature lower than the original one. This keeps the DCT fluid cooler than stock, but not likely to get too cold. The transmission is designed to operateion within a certain temperature range. A fan override switch not only adds extra expense, but when left on it can cool the fluid temperature too far below operating temperature, which can block the vehicle's access to certain functions and /or limit the power. It is always best to have the ECU control this function to keep the transmission in its correct operating range.
