DO NOT BREAK YOUR BELT. BREAK IT.
If you don't break the belt correctly, youYou'll find yourself shredding the belt instead of the ground. In fact, most powersports belt failures can be traced to poor clutch break-in and adjustment – or no belt failure at all. Follow these three steps to ensure the best performance and longest life from your G-Force™ belt. If you don't break the belt correctly, you'll find yourself shredding the belt instead of the ground. In fact, most powersports belt failures can be attributed to poor clutch break-in and adjustment – or no belt failure at all. Follow these three steps to ensure the best performance and longest life from your G-Force™ belt.
1. Install the right belt. Using a belt, even if slightly different from the original specifications, may affect performance or stop you in your tracks.e momentum.
2. Align and clean. Align the clutches according to the manufacturer's specifications and clean the pulleys with a Scotch-Brite™ pad. Remove old belt residue, usa made utv accessories, cheap utv parts, hyper utv-1000 aftermarket parts, bulldog 300 utv parts, glazing, oils and debris with alcohol or acetone on the clutch pulley area. DO NOT USE BRAKE CLEANER.
3. Install it and insert it. Perform two heat cycles (10 to 15 minutes each) at 80°F at 30 to 40 mph (2WD) with the cover installed. Return the belt temperature to normal operating temperatures, then shut the belt off and allow it to cool for 30 minutes. Repeat the process a second time. If the belt installation is at a temperature of 60°F or lower, perform two heat cycles in 20 minutes at 30-40 mph (2WD) with thecover installed. Return the belt temperature to normal operating temperatures, then shut the belt off and allow it to cool for 30 minutes. Repeat the process a second time. Carefully move through the entire shift range, without exceeding ¾ throttle. Bring the belt back to normal operating temperature (15 minutes), then turn it off and let it cool completely for 30 minutes. Repeat the process.
