For more than a century, Gates has driven innovation in belt technology to power machines. that moves you. Gates® G-Force™ C12CVT belt drives are designed to navigate the toughest off-road trails with power and efficiency. The industry's first CVT belt with carbon tensile cord also features a rounded rack and pinion trapezoidal design for superior flexibility and heat dissipation, as well as a unique gum adhesion that reduces fiber pull-out at the inside the belt, thus extending the life of the belt. Gates combines materials science and process engineering to create innovative products that deliver performance, reliability and strength to withstand the harshest off-road environments. Innovation continuesnude isn't just what we do. It's who we are.
Features:
Advanced material science and technology allows:
- Advanced carbon cord allows for minimal stretch with extraordinary performance.ry for faster acceleration.
- The trapezoidal upper sprocket with the rounded lower sprocket provides excellent flexibility and efficiency.
- Elastomeric compound loaded with carbon fibers Aramid for optimized durability and performance.
- Achieves optimal power transmission for rapid acceleration, improved throttle response and consistent shifting performance.
- Maintains maximum power throughout the shift curve.
DO NOT BREAK YOUR BELT. BREAK IT.
If you don't break the belt properly, you'll find yourself shredding the belt instead of the ground. In fact, mostrt powersports belt failures can be attributed to improper clutch break-in and adjustment - or no belt breakage at all. Follow these three steps to ensure the best performance and longest life from your G-Force™ belt. If you don't break the belt correctly, you'll find yourself shredding the belt instead of the ground. In fact, most powersports belt failures can be traced back to improper break-in and clutch adjustment – or no belt failure at all. Follow these three steps to ensure the best performance and longest life from your G-Force™ belt.
1. Install the right belt. Using a belt, even if slightly different from the original specifications, can affect performance or stop you in your tracks.
2. Align and clean. Align the clutches according to thes manufacturer’s specifications and clean the pulleys with a Scotch-Brite™ pad. Remove old belt residue, Ontario UTV parts, UTV billet parts, glazing, oils and debris with alcohol or acetone on the clutch pulley area. DO NOT USE BRAKE CLEANER.
3. Install it and insert it. Perform two heat cycles (10 to 15 minutes each) at 80°F at 30 to 40 mph (2WD) with the cover installed. Bring the belt temperature back to normal operating temperatures, then turn it off and let it cool for 30 minutes. Repeat the process a second time. If the belt installation is at a temperature of 60°F or lowerW, Huffy Torex 24V UTV Parts, perform two heat cycles in 20 minutes at 30-40 mph (2WD) with the cover installed. Bring the belt temperature back to normal operating temperatures, UTV parts fleet, byutv parts companies, dynamcraft realtree 24v utv parts diagram, then turn off and let cool for 30 minutes. Repeat the process a second time. Carefully move through the entire shift range, without exceeding ¾ throttle. Bring the belt back to normal operating temperature (15 minutes), then turn it off and let it cool completely for 30 minutes. Repeat the process.
