Previously designed ATV components were either adopted into newer UTV platforms or slightly modified to meet technical requirements. UTVs weigh more and carry more cargo than you ever thought possible from an ATV platform. The clutches and drive belt appear to be a weak link as the extra load is converted into wasted thermal energy. In the extreme conditions of sand dunes, it has become common to remove belt covers in a desperate attempt to avoid belt failure. Features:
- Low amperage draw DC fan (2.0 amp start and1.7 amp continuous) does not overload the electrical system. The motor is highly water and dust resistant and designed to operate in adverse conditions.
