The RZR Turbo R's accent lights needed an upgrade. Apex™ innovation puts you ahead of the pack and makes you visible like never before. This pair of rigid, IP67 rated, nearly indestructible lights mounts to ANY flat surface or 1.25 to 2.5 inch roll bar. Yes. Roll bar. Their sleek, futuristic lenses catch the eye in racing mode. When you brake, they pulse before providing 300% more light than your stock Turbo R brake lights. Plug & Play installation in less than 30 minutes (no drilling required).
It took RAVEK engineers two years to come up with the Apex Light™ innovation. It revolutionizes the rear lighting of the RZR Turbo R – and at a fair price. This is our "nerd zone" to discuss why they’re awesome, and how we did it.
Total customization with "the easiest installation in lightingge". Apex Lights™ mount to ANY flat surface or roll bar from 1.25" to 2.5", including OEM and aftermarket bumpers. Each pair includes custom roll bar mounting adapters and heavy-duty straps, ensuring a secure, long-lasting fit. And each kit includes everything you need to install specifically for the RZR Turbo R. Watch our installation videos – it's incredibly simple (less than 30 minutes). And adding more Apex Lights™ is simple.
There are technically no limits unless you're using a flasher controller or kit. But we don't recommend more than four sets on the Turbo R – eight lights total, including your white and orange front options (part numbers 64-505S and 64-505A). The hardest part is choosing where to place them. Two on the roof and two on the roll bar? Or four on the roof, each pulsing together when you brake. Debate on.
Superior technology – and security. Factory taillights are dim and low to the ground. We almost always drive with dust and dirt around us, so bright lights high on the vehicle are essential to alert other drivers. When using the UTV 801, the Apex Light™ radiates 500% brighter than stock taillights thanks to a rugged, diffused polycarbonate lens. When you brake, they alert drivers behind you by emitting rapid pulses four times with a light output 300% brighter than factory brake lights. You do not need to install the pulse connector. But they come "standard" in every kit because they make you safer and they look cute.
Style-wise, we've left behind the "hot spot" LED diodes » with a clean and diffuse side. near Edmonton, almost futuristic LED look. We do thisthe with a custom diffusion reflector panel inside the light. We use a stream of tightly packed SMD LED diodes for a consistent light beam effect that looks incredible.
As we continued to increase the quantity and intensity of the SMD LEDs, we realized that the light warranted a aluminum heat sink base (rather than plastic). You wouldn't notice it was there if we didn't tell you, but it's a critical engineering addition.
If you break the stock Turbo R lights (like we did have done) and compare them to the Apex Lights™, you will see that the stock lights have far fewer LEDs which rely on light projection through light pipe. This diffuses less light into the space surrounded by the OEM light. The result is lower quality and quantity light output. The elite RZR Turbo R deserves better.
Tough, almost indestructible. Watch our videosbone impact tests. Our team had a lot of fun trying to find ways to break the lights and challenge their IP67 waterproof and dustproof engineering. You can mount the lights with or without drilling. Either use 3M® adhesive with 30 lbs. load capacity (with or without custom straps). Or, you can drill them, which is our preference. Our local Northwoods trails are thin – contact with trees and branches is common. Adhesive backings have held up perfectly in every field test.
Be prepared and visible in dusty or low visibility conditions. The Apex Light™ is 5 times brighter than stock Defender taillights.
