A boxed arm will give you increased torsional resistance for the strongest possible control arm design. There's more to a Thumper Fab Boxed Control Arm than meets the eye. Underneath the steel covering is a skeletal design that adds strength exactly where you need it and saves weight. Strength is important, but unnecessary weight increases your unsprung mass and reduces the compensation ability of your shock. Thumper Fab design adds strength and reduces weight for optimal ride quality.
We offer professionally installed bushings and ball joints for easy installation. When you select the options below, we take the hassle out of pressing your bushings and ball joints yourself. With our precision press operation, we are able to ensure that your bushings and ball joints are installed correctly and are not hammered or pressed in a way that will reduce their quality and life.
Uniball – Our uniball bearing replaces the use of a ball joint for extreme levels of performance and strength. Commonly used in harsh racing conditions. Our patent-pending control arm design allows youto use a ball joint or ball joint depending on your desired usage!
Reuse bushings and ball joints – You also have the option of reusing your OEM bushings and ball joints. Maybe your Xpedition is new or in very good condition. Our patent-pending control arms allow you to reuse your OEM hardware. We recommend professional installation and the use of a press to ensure your original equipment. It can be removed and installed without damage.
We make installing this entire kit easy! We supply complete Cobra Axle replacement axles with fully assembled inner and outer CVs. Both of these axles are COMPLETE with no need to disassemble and reassemble your OEM axles with longer bars.
